The history of our religion has many dark areas of shame because man has failed to follow God's law. A community of believers in God with love and understanding for all people is what it is all about. When we say Christian,many may scoff,when one may say Jew, we classify them in a race separately because we donot understand the Jews,when one says they are Catholic,we step back and think about all the rituals of worship. If a Baptist meets a Presbyte- rian,he feels that only he himself is right. If a Baptist meets a Pentecostal Holiness person,they feel they are marked. Then among the Pentecostals,the originals from when Pentecost fell on man in 1904 on Azusa Street in Los Angeles,other like denominations have formed like the Assemblies and the Church of God who donot corpo- ate with the first to receive the blessing. Maybe we need to be- gin anew to form a way to worship God that would be pleasing to Him. Any time a man cannot agree and get along with a neighbor, then something is ungodly about the person or persons involved. Salvation is by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ! I paint not a pretty picture of the history of religion. Did you know or ever think that war,WWII was a religious war. Hitler was for sure of the Devil but he based his hate for the Jews on the church doctrine of Martin Luther. Hitler is quoted in the Holoca- ust Museum in Washington as saying, "I finished the job for the Pope in killing the Jews". "I have done the will of God." My work is to do the will of God the Father. The Holocaust painting is a learning process for me to understand how things got in such a mess that one religion will not speak to another religion because it is only religion and not of God. When I see all the facts of history,I feel religion the enemy of all. I have discovered a very sickening truth in church history so bad that Jews are said to view the cross as a symbol of persecution. Hitlers violence against the Jews was rooted in Christianity. Matthew 7-21"Not every one that saith unto me,Lord,Lord shall en- ter into the kingdom of heaven;but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in Heaven.22-Many will say to me in that day,Lord Lord,have we not prophesied in thy name?and in thy name have cast out devils?and in thy name done many wonderful works?23-And then will I profess unto them,I never knew you:depart from me,ye that work iniquity." Dear Lord,may we all do the will of the Father. Adolf Hitler Killed 75 million in his time reports Time Life. The day of darkness for Europe that left few standing. Martin Luther was a German Catholic monk who besides opposing the Pope for sel- ling forgiveness for sin,wrote the following advise to his follow ers,set fire to the Jewish synagogues and schools,seize and dest- roy their houses,take away their prayer books,forbid their Rabbis from teaching,stop their travel,take away their treasures and stop their credit and number 7 to enslave them to work for bread. The power of the pin or the brush may be greater even than the power of words to encourage,save or to destroy lives or nations. Neither the Roman Catholic Church nor any of the Protestant deno- minations have ever repented to God or the Jews for such things.
